A D | Did you expect China to be cheap or expensive? 🇨🇳 Shanghai is China’s MOST expensive city ans I was honestly surprised how affordable everything was when we arrived. You could catch a metro train from one end of Shanghai to the other for under $1 usd. Food was easily under $5 per person, sometimes even less. Taxis and Didi cars are so affordable. Visiting the top Shanghai attractions were reasonably priced. Accommodation had us shook because 4-5 star hotels are so affordable compared to other countries.
