Roasted chicken #chicken #Recipe #lunch #dinner #recime #southern #cooking Brine recipe - 2 quarts water 2 quarts ice cold water (add at end) 1 cup of salt 1cup of sugar 1 yellow onion quartered 1 head of garlic cut in half 1 lemon juiced 2 bay leaves 1 sprig of rosemary 1 small bunch of thyme Bring two quarts of water to a slow simmer. Add all the ingredients to water. Turn off Stir until the sugar n salt dissolves. Add the 2 quarts of ice cold water to help cool it down and to balance out solution. Put in refrigerator to completely cool before adding chickens in there. Brine for 12 hours. After 12 hrs Completely remove from Brine and discard of Brine. Roast chicken in oven at 350° until internal temp hits 165 or until fully cooked.
