Not one to ugly cry on the internet but YOU GUYS (& tswift) got me in my FEELS 😭 It took me SIX YEARS to write SCRATCH THAT: Embrace the Mess, Cook to Impress because doubts & fears told me there wasn’t a place for a girl like me. But just like I made my own place in cooking videos, I knew I could make my own place in books. The kitchen always felt like it had to be perfect—neat, precise, and without mistakes. But that’s not how I cook. I thrive the chaos of experimentation. It took time for me to realize that there’s beauty in that, too. SCRATCH THAT is proof that the mess is where the magic happens.
