Living in the days I prayed for ❤️🥹 Baseball was the first sport I ever tried, and even to this day I remember my first glove and tball set I had. Living in the days I prayed for ❤️🥹 I remember my first baseball glove and baseball so clearly, so it was extra special to get Abide his first glove and throw his first catch. He loved it and we’ve already played more catch since. Playing sports together, is more bonding for us as father and son than either of us can express. The first of many more ⚽️❤️ This day, I bought Abide (my son) his first soccer ball, and we went to our local park for some father and son soccer practice. ✨ Soccer is special in our household, because my wife’s biological dad was a professional soccer player…. so maybe it’s in our son’s DNA to play. 🧬⚽️ I personally didn’t get to play soccer growing up, but I want him to get experience playing all sports, so he can find best fit for himself. The best little helper 🪛🥹 One thing I love to doing is to ask my son Abide to help me with projects around the house. It is a really special way for us to bond as father as son, and for my hin to learn practical life skills and build confidence. It is so sweet to watch him learn how to use tools and to see how proud he is of himself when we finish the project together. Trying to soak up these moments as much as I can 🥹

I’m so proud of my big boy ❤️ One of our new favorite father & son activities is speed running the local parks on his scooter. 🛴💨 Abide is 3, so we got him a (adult size medium) helmet and got out there with a scooter. He loved it right away, but wasn’t able to turn it or go very fast, but then this day he woke up and suddenly learned how to turn and go super fast! 💪 I am so proud of my son for learning how to do it and being so confident to send it even though it’s new to him. We went to all of his favorite playgrounds at the park and said to all the animals in between.
