Meet 🌺Lilo🌺 !!! I know there are many votes on TikTok for the name "Penny" but our rescue has had a lot of Pennys in our care in the last year so we needed something more unique! First of all, SO excited for @Disney live action Lilo and Stitch coming out soon! 🌺Lilo🌺 means "generous one" or "lost,” which feels incredibly fitting for this little girl since she was found as a stray but still so trusting and loving 🥹 In the movie, Lilo is a spunky, big-hearted girl who finds and loves an odd little creature (kind of like this creature with her underbite!). Underbite reveal at the end 🥰🤣 Getting little lady all fixed up! Hopefully we can introduce her to wally soon! As a foster, all vet care is compensated by the rescue. Fostering is no $ out of your personal pocket. Fostering gives dogs the chance to be supported financially by a rescue + out of the shelter environment and get the care that they need. Fostering also helps dogs recover from illnesses in a quiet, calm space that the shelter may not otherwise be able to offer. And as a last reminder, please try to refrain from encouraging foster parents to keep their foster dogs. Lilos first walk! My niece lilly who lives with me is walking lilo in this vid! We are sooo surprised and proud of her confidence, seeing as shes really timid and unsure about going in the backyard! She’s so desperately wants to meet Wally, but as of this morning, she is still snot rocketing so we are having to continue to keep them separated.
