Making the Grand Duchess Anastasia gown 🥹✨ The final gown in the series is complete! 4 years of work making all of her outfits in the movie has culminated to this last dress and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Though it’s never been my favorite outfit of hers, it’s still so special to bring it to life 💛#anastasia

Wow! I tell you what, wow!! Trying on my Grand Duchess Anastasia cosplay for the first time 🥹🥹 though I of course try on every piece individually many many times while I’m making a costume, I always save my reaction for when I put it all together with the hair and makeup and it truly makes my childhood dreams come true every time ✨

New ren faire layering piece unlocked 😍😍 I’m obsessed with the gold mirror finish on these scales and was lowkey mesmerized seeing how they hit the light in this video 😂 I made a similar pair of sleeves for a friend year ago so it was finally time to make a set for myself! Help me decide what to do on my Anastasia dress! Some additional thoughts: A- maybe TOO mirror-y and not enough sparkle? B- camera is being generous to this one and making it more sparkly than it looks irl, also takes SO much time for not as much sparkle payoff as some of the others C- love it with flash but does it look good on its own? Unsure D- maybe my favorite but still undecided E- I thought the texture of the sequins would be nice but it has too many areas that swallow the light and make it look dark

Is Renaissance Faire Anastasia a flop or not I’m undecided 🥲 I’ve been making a bunch of little projects from my fabric stash and thought this would be a fun mashup with what I had leftover!

Happy may the 4th! ✨ I made this video a couple years ago but feel like I should bring this series back 👀 Been loving all the Star Wars on my feed today and it’s had me thinking a lot about the fandom and the grief I feel in not connecting with it as much anymore. I think I have pretty tough skin when it comes to the internet but I realized the dark side of the fandom really got to me at a certain point and I stopped posting about Star Wars entirely. I’m sure many of you wouldn’t even know I’m a Star Wars fan despite that being a huge part of my come up as a creator! I’ve really been feeling the call to make a Padme cosplay this year so I want to push myself to fight through this feeling and reconnect with the good that this community has to offer 💛

This is just a dream ✨ More Anastasia bc everyone had their knickers in a twist on the last video that they couldn’t see enough of the reveal 😂 One of the most important factors to me when recreating these dresses has been what I’ve always called: the ✨Anastasia sparkle✨ the way sparkle is animated in this movie has always been so mesmerizing to me and I’m really proud of how it looks here 🥹

I dare say this is the fanciest I ever felt in my life 😍 This gorgeous ensemble is from @Immortelle Ballgowns & Jewels whose mission is to make people feel beautiful and that absolutely how I felt as the queen at @Book Bound ‘s An Austen Affair last weekend! I so wish it was the norm to dress like this every day 😭
