today the ep came out. you sold out the vinyls in minutes. i had a little cry for the first time in a long time. i love u. i produced this ep in my garden shed. i’ve spent days, weeks, months, years on some of these songs and i know them inside out. every synth, every vocal, every drum. at times i didn’t think anyone would hear these songs. the last six months, from silver spoon to marble arch to now - being met with so much love and people who give these songs new meaning and understanding is the most exciting and comforting and meaningful thing i’ve ever experienced. to be digital, for me has meant a neurotic and obsessive and compulsive part of myself and the divine is an incredibly sensitive and overcome with emotion by small things. between these two every song exists and is linked by feeling inherently dysfunctional. this ep is orchestras made from small plastic keyboards and false choirs of my voice and people i love. i couldn’t do this without u. i’m so glad these songs belong to u and i #newmusic #singersongwriter #femaleproducer #originalmusic #songwriter
