One of my biggest prayers as a mom is that my children will grow up knowing, loving, and walking with Jesus. While I can’t control their faith, I can be intentional about planting seeds every single day. Here are a few ways I incorporate Christ into the daily rhythms of our home: 1. Reading my Bible in front of them. I want my kids to see that spending time with God is a priority in my life. That’s why I make an effort to read my physical Bible instead of using my phone—so they know I’m not just scrolling, but truly engaging with God’s Word. If they’re interested, I invite them to sit with me and look through their own books. I also talk to them about what I’m reading and how we can apply it to our lives, planting little seeds of faith in their hearts even now. 2. Praying out loud when I’m overwhelmed or anxious. Life as a mom is full of overwhelming moments. Instead of keeping those prayers silent, I say them out loud so my kids can hear what it looks like to turn to Jesus in real time. When I feel anxious or frustrated, I pray and invite them into that moment with me. If I lose my temper, I not only apologize to them but also pray out loud, asking for peace and forgiveness. I want them to grow up knowing that Jesus is our refuge, our helper, and our source of grace. 3. Being mindful of the media they take in. Little eyes and ears absorb everything, so I try my best to make sure what they watch, hear, and experience is glorifying to God. That doesn’t mean everything has to be a Bible story, but I want the things they consume to be filled with kindness, truth, and goodness. We also love to worship together—singing, dancing, and praising the Lord with joy! Worship is a beautiful way to teach them about the goodness of God in a way that feels natural and fun. 4. Praying over them throughout the day. Prayer isn’t just for bedtime—it’s for every moment. I pray over my babies when they’re hurt, when they’re struggling with big emotions, when they can’t fall asleep, when they wake up, and when we go about our day. I want them to grow up knowing that talking to Jesus isn’t reserved for one part of the day, but that He is with us always. Motherhood is a ministry, and these small, daily moments matter more than we realize. My hope is that by modeling faith for them, they will come to know and love Jesus for themselves. What are some ways you incorporate Christ into your children’s daily lives? I’d love to hear! 🤍 #christiantiktok #christianmom #christianmotherhood #motherhood #toddlermom #toddlerlife #parenting #raisinglittles #realisticmotherhood #mommotivation
